One of the many evolution-related scourges of modern times is the phenomenon of so-called gender confusion. There are many reasons why more and more children seem to be confused about their gender. A recent lecture by an environmental toxicologist at a University of Exeter symposium disclosed that twenty per cent of male fish in UK rivers display feminine characteristics, as a result of exposure to estrogen from birth control pills, plastics and other pollutants. The contamination of the water supply with estrogen is one of a number of factors that help to explain the increasing number of children expressing confusion about their gender. However, while there may be objective reasons for this emotional confusion, there is no excuse for theological or anthropological confusion about gender. In at least one diocese in the United States, however, it has become official diocesan policy to welcome same-sex "families" and students who claim to have changed their gender to become "transgender" into diocesan schools.

In our last newsletter we recalled the connection between the original goodness of creation and the true character of God on the one hand and the link between disorders in nature and the Original Sin and subsequent sins of mankind on the other. In this newsletter, I would like to recall a concrete example of a saint of modern times who clearly saw the connection between sin and disorders in nature - St. Anthony Mary Claret, the founder of the Claretian Fathers. The following account describes his prophetic response to disorders in nature, first in the form of an earthquake and then in the form of a deadly disease.

One of the many terrible effects of the widespread belief in theistic evolution is that it erodes or destroys our ability to interpret the signs of the times and to see the link between our obedience or disobedience to God's Will and corresponding changes in the natural world. No one who takes the Bible seriously can fail to see that God blesses obedience to His Will with favorable weather and fruitfulness and punishes disobedience to His Will with natural disasters and inclement weather. It is not always clear whether these changes are entirely the result of a supernatural divine judgment or blessing, as in the case of Noah's Flood or the miraculous provision of food during the Exodus, or simply the natural consequence of the disorder that occurs when the human will defies the Will of God. In either case, disobedience to God's Will produces disorders in nature, while obedience to God's Will engenders harmony.

Započeo s radom Generalni kapitul Bratstva - Izabran novi generalni poglavar Posted: 11 Jul 2018 08:30 PM PDT U srijedu 11. srpnja 2018. započeo je u Ecôneu službeni dio četvrtoga Generalnoga kapitula Svećeničkoga bratstva sv. Pija X. 41 član kapitula se nakon kratkoga uvoda okupio u bogoslovskoj kapeli na zaziv Duha Svetoga, gdje je svatko položio zakletvu da će u vezi predstojećega izbora generalnoga poglavara birati kandidata kojega pred Bogom smatraju da treba biti izabran te da će čuvati strogu šutnju u vezi izbora i različitih odluka kapitula.

Fr. Davide Pagliarani was elected Superior General.  Also chosen were his two assistants, Bishop Alfonso de Gallareta & Fr. Christian Bouchacourt.  May God bless them & make them worthy of the great positions that they have, being the voice of tradition.

Election of the General Assistants

Just as the day was coming to an end, the new Superior General of the Society of Saint Pius X, Father Davide Pagliarani, and the 40 other capitulants have decided to proceed to the election of the two General Assistants.

The 1st Assistant elected is Bishop Alfonso Gallareta, auxiliary bishop of the Society, of Spanish nationality. Aged 61, he was ordained priest in 1980 at Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he lived for a certain time. In the past he has held the roles of Rector of Our Lady Co-Redemptrix Seminary at La Reja, Argentina, and superior of the Autonomous House of Spain and Portugal. He was 2nd Assistant of the Society from 2002 to 2006. Until now, he resided in Geneva, Switzerland.

The 2nd Assistant elected is Father Christian Bouchacourt, of French nationality. Aged 59, he was ordained priest in 1986 by Archbishop Lefebvre. For a long time he was stationed in Paris, especially at Saint-Nicolas du Chardonnet, before becoming District Superior of South America and then, in 2014, District Superior of France.

Now that these elections have taken place, the General Chapter will be able to address the numerous questions which have been proposed for discussion, until July 21st 2018.

Svećenikove pouke o čednosti Posted: 06 Jul 2018 03:30 PM PDT Tko je ikada rekao da je lako biti svećenik! U tom pozivu postoje mnogi izazovi. Jedno od najtežih područja za mene je prigovoriti onima koji se odijevaju nečedno. Pokušao sam to napisati u župnome listiću, iztaditi obavijesti i propovijedati o tome. Ali kada bi se netko pojavio na krštenju ili vjenčanju ili proslavi 15. rođendana u suknji iznad koljena, osjećao bih kao svoju dužnost učiniti nešto. Mnogi današnji stilovi su u svom temelju nečedni, a mnoge žene kao da to stalno zaboravljaju. One jednostavno prate što drugi rade čak i kada su ti stilovi uvredljivi Gospodinu. Ali još mi je gore kada nešto moram reći onoj koja uđe u crkvu u suknji koja je prekratka. Skoro da je nemoguće reći nešto na takav način da ta osoba ne bude uvrijeđena. Čak ni kada joj govorim u četiri oka to ne funkcionira. A i sami ljudi daju slabu podršku. Jesu li roditelji jednostavno odustali od poučavanja o čednosti u odijevanju? Je li ta bitka izgubljena?

Disillusionment with the dishonesty of much of what passes for mainstream science and journalism has led to the rise of a "flat earth" or "convex earth" movement throughout the world.  The movement has been fueled by professional videos that highlight certain genuine anomalies that are difficult--but not impossible--to explain within a globe-earth framework.  The movement has also been supported by an exegesis of Genesis 1-3 which appears to be motivated by a genuine desire to honor the literal historical truth of God's Revelation to Moses but which deviates from the authentic exegesis of the text, as understood by the Fathers of the Church and as confirmed by empirical science.  As a result, thousands of sincere Christians, both Catholic and non-Catholic, have been distracted from the work of authentic catechesis and evangelization, and have become preoccupied with promoting the Flat Earth hypothesis instead.  Robert Sungenis has done the Church and the world a great service by demonstrating in his latest book that sound Biblical scholarship, authentic Catholic Tradition, and sound empirical science confirm the globe-shape of the Earth, as depicted in the iconography of the Church for many centuries.

Problem s knjigama 'Harry Potter'

Postoje mnogi problemi u Harryju Potteru osim vračanja.1

Kažem osim vračanja, ne zato što mislim da je to manji problem, već zato što mi se čini kao da većina ljudi, koji ne odobravaju tu zbirku knjiga, ima kritički stav isključivo radi vračanja. Iako je takav razlog vrlo dobar (vjerojatno i najbolji) za kloniti se tog svijeta Harryja Pottera, postoje još i mnogi drugi razlozi koje mu možemo prigovoriti.
