Dear Friend,
My illustrious colleague, David Palm, recently sent out another diatribe calling the geocentric system "bogus pseudo science" based on his contention that the Sun cannot revolve around the Earth.
Once again, I want to thank Mr. Palm for forcing the issue, since although I have explained in the past how it is scientifically possible for the Sun to revolve around the Earth (and thereby I have confirmed Tradition, Scripture and the Magisterium who all taught that very view), Mr. Palm has forced me to make it even clearer so that even the layman can understand it.
In his latest critique, although Mr. Palm accepts the fact (that I pointed out a couple of years ago) that even Isaac Newton allowed for a geocentric universe if there was a sufficient force outside our solar system to balance the gravity between the Sun and the Earth, Mr. Palm bases his new challenge on the supposition that since we have not provided "observable evidence" for an additional "gravitational force," then geocentrism is false.
Although I have answered this particular issue in our books and movies, I realized that I left it to the mathematics to answer the question, which apparently Mr. Palm either didn't understand or didn't know how to apply. So, in this present response, I explain it and apply it for him, and you, with graphics and pictures. It is probably one of the most important papers I have written on this subject, since it answers the most common objection to geocentrism: how can the Sun go around the Earth? It is so important that we are going to add it to our books and movies as soon as possible, and I thank Mr. Palm for making it all possible!
In the end, if anyone ever challenges you to explain how the more massive Sun can revolve around the tiny Earth using conventional mathematics and physics, you have the answer for them.
